Most tourists visit Jerusalem during the day, but few go out and explore its Old City at night. On this private walking tour, we’ll go on a night tour of Jerusalem and see its famous landmarks after dark, including the Western Wall, King David’s Tomb, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is a highly recommended tour for the hot summer days and also for people who don’t like the crowd.
Tour highlights
The Western Wall at night
The Western Wall – the last remnant of the Holy Temple – is open 24/7 for people who want to visit and pray. On our Jerusalem night tour, we’ll visit the Western Wall after dark and experience this holy site from a different point of view.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre at night
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the holiest site for Christians all around the world – believed to be the site of the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.. We’ll visit this magnificent church close to sunset or after sunset, which means much less crowd.
Walking through the empty alleys
If you’ve been to the Old City before dark, you’ll be shocked to discover how quiet the alleys are during the night. The shops and restaurants are closed, most attractions are closed, and there are only a few people making their way to pray at the holy sites or to their homes in the Old City.
