Lior Tour Guide

About Me

Hi everyone! I’m Lior and I’m a certified tour guide in Israel. I have established Israel Walking Tours because I love to show people around. I would be happy to help you experience Israel in the best possible way!

One of the things I love most about guiding is hearing people’s questions – about the traditions, about the conflicts, about the history. I don’t always have all the answers, but surely will be happy to share my knowledge and local perspectives with you.

I usually do private walking tours for small groups of families or friends and will be happy to introduce you to Israel’s main cities. My team will also be happy to guide you when I’m not around.

Apart from guiding, I also manage backpackisrael.com, a website meant to help independent travellers see Israel on a budget , and I absolutely love it!

“Had a fabulous time in Jerusalem, the Death Sea, Massada and Tel Aviv. Lior supported me to plan my short trip across Isreal with a lot of useful information and knowledge.  I can just recommend Lior as a guide and it is nice to see with what enthusiasm she tells the stories of all the beautiful places I have seen.
Thank you again and keep it up!”

“Thank you Lior! I enjoyed an engaging and beautiful tour of the Old City. It was great to hear the history and see the changes and development over the centuries and continuing today. I would recommend Lior any time!”
